A few weeks in Woop Woop

G'Day! (Heard it here for the first time!)

I'm writing in English because I'm tipping on an iPad with English autocorrects, no ae, oe and ue and crossed y and z. At first: Sorry for mistakes, but I hope my English is better than the Google translation ...
So, as I said, I'm in Woop Woop, which is an Australian expression for "in the middle of nowhere". The country pub at which I'm working is surrounded by farmland, everywhere are fields and farms. Everything is different than in Sydney, even the weather. Yesterday it's been SO hot and windy, today I can't leave my room without a big pullover.
I had my first working day today. Got to clean up and tap beer (I thought it would be easier with the Australian beer - but NO, it isn't) and Sarah, one of the owners of the pup, showed me the "city". And, yeah, I've seen my first genuine, wildlife kangaroo!!
I have to stop writing now and give Sarah her iPad back. I don't know when I will be able to post again, but no later than I'm back in the civilisation (probably in two months) I will write a very long post with all the photos I made here and on my last few days in Sydney.

See you!

Lou
